The Windham County Historical Museum is located on the main street (Route 30) in Newfane, one of the most beautiful villages in Southern Vermont.
Visitors to the museum have been delighted by the quality of our collection. Ongoing exhibits include a Civil War collection; pictures from from Porter Thayer, an early photographer; a collection of items from Otis Warren, an resident of Newfane in the 1800s; and early Blacksmith tools.
