Venture Vermont Outdoor Challenage 5/1/16 - 10/31/16

The 2016 Venture Vermont Outdoor Challenge is on! The Venture Vermont Outdoor Challenge is a statewide outdoor scavenger hunt where participants earn points by completing fun, outdoor activities and can earn free entry to Vermont State Parks for this year, and all of next year. Just go to the parks website and download the 2016 Venture Vermont Outdoor Challenge score sheet. Choose the activities from each section that you’d like to do, and take a photo of yourself (or have someone else take a photo) of you doing that activity. Once you reach 250 points, send us your score sheet, photos, and any accompanying materials, and we’ll send you a gold VIP pass good for free park entry for 2016 and 2017! Activities must be completed between April 1 – October 15, 2016. Weekly bonus activities will be posted on Vermont State Park’s Facebook and Twitter feeds.


Sign up for the Summer Reading Program: On Your Mark Get Set Read! 6/27/16 - 7/9/16

Register between June 27 and July 9 and receive your log book to track how much you read this summer. (Books read to you count) Set a goal of books, pages or minutes, Keep track of your progress. Check in with Librarians at ¼, ½, and ¾ of your goal for prizes along the way. Drop off your finished reading log by July 30 to get your final prize.
