Moretown, Vermont is a town in Washington County located west of Montpelier, and south of Waterbury, Vermont, off Route 100B.
Moretown was one of 12 rural communities to be awarded a grant in December 2010 from the e-Vermont Community Broadband Project. The grant will result in a new website for the town, among other technological upgrades. The e-Vermont Community Broadband Project is supported by a $2.5 million stimulus grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce with additional support from Vermont philanthropists, corportations, and organizational partners.

The Moretown Artisans Sale is one of the best holiday sales in the area, featuring over two dozen regional artists, local food, student and professional musicians and even a Free Photo Booth with Santa on Sunday!
