Barry Goldensohn moved to Vermont in 1965 and now lives here the six months a year that his house can be reached. He is the author of six books of poems; his most recent is "The Listener Aspires to the Condition of Music." Goldensohn has taught at Goddard College, Hampshire College, the Writers Workshop at the University of Iowa and since 1982 at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. He continues to teach in the NY State Writers Institute at Skidmore during the summers.
