Originally built in 1899, the Hero's Welcome General Store is located in the middle of the northern part of Lake Champlain, on one of the Hero Islands. We welcome thousands of folks every year, and you can get here by car, bike, horse, ferry, seaplane, kayak, canoe, water skis and even ice skates! The main store is housed in the original structure, but the property now includes several buildings, a bakery, cafe, marina, boat landing, post office and general store.
