When completed, the LVRT will span the breadth of Vermont from St. Johnsbury to Swanton. Nearly 100 miles long, it will be the longest rail trail in NE, offering spectacular vistas, local hospitality and services for hikers, bikers, equestrians, snowmobilers, snowshoers, mushers and cross-country skiers. Currently, there are completed sections from St. Johnsbury to West Danville and Morristown to Cambridge Junction, as well as shorter sections in Swanton and Hardwick.
