Jacksonville is a village in Windham County, in the Southern Vermont region, located at the junction of Route 100 and Route 112, near Whitingham and the Harriman Reservoir.
Originally known as Point Pleasant, the village was renamed in 1834, apparently to honor President Andrew Jackson.
