Description: Ring of Fire, a memoir by Yenna Yi, is a story of time and places, war and poverty, and sailing the big waters of the globe on a home-built catamaran. Yi talks about the joy of family, loss of loved ones and reflections on the journey. Yenna Yi was born in South Korea. She moved to Munich, Germany to attend college where she met an American graduate student. Yenna and Steve married in Vienna, went to Hawaii and built a 48' catamaran, Melekai, and had two sons. They lived on Melekai for 14 years, homeschooling their sons while sailing around the globe. Yenna Yi lived in Vermont from 1989 until 2002 and now lives in Massachusetts working as a psychotherapist. Books will be available for sale and signing.
