Description: A shared poetry reading by friends Marjorie Ryerson and Scudder Parker Life-long poet Marjorie Ryerson is also a photographer, professor, journalist, book editor, and former state representative. She will share poems about our connection to the natural world, poems inspired by music, and poems about human’s emotional responses to those around them. Scudder Parker has been a Protestant minister, state senator, utility regulator, candidate for Governor, consultant on energy efficiency and renewable energy, and is settling into his ongoing work as a poet. He will read poems about family, gardens, nature, loss, and hope.
