Description: HARDWICK, VT – Top-quality, live entertainment, in a renovated historic theater, featuring local and international performers, accessible for all Vermonters? That’s impossible! And yet, that’s just what Vermont Vaudeville has been doing for the last decade. Their fall show, “That’s Impossible!”, brings internationally touring artists to the stage, as well as new material from the core cast of resident Vermonters. Their blend of comedy, music, and circus earned them the 2018 Seven Daysies Award for Best Comedy Troupe. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 17-19, and 2 p.m. for the Saturday Matinee, October 19. Advance tickets are available at the Galaxy Bookshop in Hardwick and online at www.VermontVaudeville.com. “That’s Impossible!” features Pogo Fred, an extreme pogo artist who holds multiple Guinness World Records and is regarded as one of the best jumpers on the planet. He can perform 17 consecutive backflips, jump a car, and balance a checkbook while bouncing ten feet in the air. Illusionist Billy Kidd performs on stages all over the globe. She has been featured on numerous television shows including CW’s “Masters of Illusions”, Syfy’s “Wizard Wars with Penn & Teller”, and hosted Discovery Channels’ “Breaking Magic” series. Her never-before-seen illusions will make your brain hurt. Both guest performers are making their Vermont debut at the majestic Hardwick Town House, a historic opera house in downtown Hardwick. This community-supported building has undergone extensive renovations and is one of the NEK’s most beautiful and exciting venues for live theater. “That’s Impossible!” also features Vermont Vaudeville’s core cast and house band, as well as impossibly delicious refreshments by Red Sky Trading of Glover, VT. PapaGyros food truck will be serving gyros and falafel on the Town House lawn starting 2 hours before showtime. Tickets are $18 for adults, $10 for children under 12, with special discounts for the matinee and Thursday show. Regular fans know that Vaudeville tickets often sell out before opening night. Advance tickets are available at the Galaxy Bookshop in Hardwick and online at VermontVaudeville.com.
