Shelburne Farms

OVERVIEW

Shelburne Farms is a working farm, including a dairy, Market Garden, and woodlands. The food grown and the farming practices used help to educate others about sustainable agriculture and our shared connections to the soil. The mission of Shelburne Farms is to cultivate a conservation ethic for a sustainable future by:

• educating young people to become ecologically literate and caring citizens who make choices that create a healthy and just world and
• practicing the stewardship of natural, agricultural, and cultural resources.
